Curly hair, classified as type 3 according to the André Walker classification, is characterized by well-defined spiral curls, with natural volume and a more or less tight texture depending on the curl subtype. For curls classified as 3A , these are large curls that will be supple and shiny. The curl classified as 3B is tighter, bouncy and often thicker. Finally, curls classified as 3C are very tight, dense and similar to kinky hair. This type of hair tends to be dry and prone to frizz, thus requiring more nourishing and moisturizing care to help maintain its elasticity and definition.
