Activilong is the story of our founder, Yannick Cheffre, who has been paying tribute to the beauty of textured hair since 1953. Passionate about hairdressing, she opened her first salon at the age of 19 and expanded her network of hair salons from the West Indies to Paris.

The lack of products suitable for textured hair led her to handcraft her own products, enriched with natural active ingredients. A pioneer in naturalness, she was the first to rehabilitate tropical ingredients (carapate, hibiscus, avocado, coconut, cactus, etc.) in generous and effective formulas. In 1983, she founded her own cosmetics laboratory, which gave birth to ACTIVILONG, the benchmark brand for textured hair.
